1996 Chev. Blazer AWD Automatic Transmission STICKS in PARK

I have a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer with all wheel drive it has a 4.3 l eng. & a 4L60E automatic transmission, which has decided to start sticking in park a lot. the only way to get it out is to rock the car. Has anybody run accross this problem???

Does it have column shift or floor shift?

I had a lot of problems with my 4L60E transmission but that wasn't one of them. My first question would be when was the last time all the linkages were adjusted and lubricated? My second would be when was the last time the truck was off-road, could you have a bent linkage or bent Park pawl in the transmission?

Just to clarify for the future you have 4wd not awd, they are different drivetrains.
