we do not give tips on charging or pressures. But you can look to see if the clutch is engaging on the compressor when you turn the A/C on. We can not advise you to charge your system you may magically rupture a hose by possible disconnecting the cut outs and then charging. Not that rupturing a hose is dangerous anyways. Also it is illegal to charge a system with a known leak, thats just as good as just venting the bottle to the atmosphere
Has a UV dye been injected in this system before?
Has it been serviced before?
Where is the green stuff coming from. you say it.
Assuming you mean by it compressor, you need to replace or rebuild the compressor. if it is leaking oil

The bright green stuff is probably a dye in the 134a you put in. It is there to aid in finding leaks. If it is not simply spillage from when you attached the can, you have found your leak. Now it is time to take it to those that do this type of work so they can fix it.
snuckers: when you posted this:
was this a typo?
Rupturing a hose can be very dangerous. Getting sprayed down with refrigerant, especially if it were to get sprayed into the eyes can cause serious injury. The pressures alone are great enough to be injurious even disregarding the fact of what is getting sprayed on/into you.

first thing I learned in autoshop was wear safety glasses. Geuss I am just a fool who wears them cuz I value my eyes more than others. I have had plenty of automotive fluids get on me. As long as I am not getting sprayed with high pressure hydraulic fluid, it is of no concern.
Sorry I have good habits.
