91 mitsu runability

I have a Mitsubishi mighty Max pick up that will start, but not continue to run on its own. It will continue to run, if after starting, pin 66 on the ECM is grounded externally. The ECM has been to the rebuild shop twice. Is there anything else I should check before rigging a switch and ground wire?

I think the pin you are talking about goes to the engine control relay. What color is the wire?

That wire definitely goes to the Engine Control Relay...have you tried a new one? It's in the right kick panel.
