rear view mirror reattachment

rear view mirror reattachment

My rear view mirror just fell of in my car and how do I reattach it well. What adhesive can I buy and what do I need to do inorder to prepare the surface for it. i.e. scrape off old adhesive etc. Thank you

rear-view mirror adhesive.

available at just about any auto parts store. Follow those directions to the letter.

Walmart

Walmart has everything - they have the adhesive in their auto parts area. Make sure you get rearview mirror adhesive - I've done this sevearl times and it works great. they fall off on older cars especially in hot climates.
