AC 2000 Ford Windstar

I just got through charging my AC system with the 134a. Last week I replaced the compressor due to a bad bearing, so my question is how much refrigerant will I need to get the AC nice and cold again? I have used aproximately 3 12oz cans and the gauge is reading 40psi. Also I have rear auxillary AC that keeps the back of the van cool so I am just wondering if it would be safe to ad more 134a... Thanks

There should be a sticker somewhere in the engine compartment that tells exactly how much it holds.
