Cooling Fan not turning on

1996 pontiac Grand Am 2.4L the cooling fan does not turn on. It does not turn on normally when the engine gets hot enough or when you turn on the A/C which does not turn on either. Fuses are all ok. Any help is appreciated! Forgot to add, there is only 1 fan on this car, not two.

high current fuse

does the fan turn easily and smoothly with your hand?

if not the bearings could be bad and it drew enough current to melt the fuse. In any case Look under the hood for a block of high current fuses and breakers. It will help if you have the book on this car. The fuse you are looking for is probably not in the dash and may be 25 or 50 amp.

Plan B: make sure the wire connection at the fan is clean and tight. Then pull the plug and apply 12V to the fan. if does not start replace the motor. If it starts write back.
