Blown fuses

My step son jumped one of his friends off with my husband's Ford Expedition 2002. After he did that the car blew a fuse and would not let the car go out of park. We replaced the fuse and it blew again so we replaced it again. It blew the fuse again and when they tried to replace it again now the car will not even crank. Someone told me something about a pressure switch being blown but the mechanic said no he thought it might be the computer. Does anyone know anything about this?

He may have connected the cables wrong and fried a wire which might be shorted to ground now with insulation burned off. Which fuse is it? If you have an owners manual, try and find out what items get their power from that fuse and let us know.

Does the check engine light still come on with key in RUN or ON? Was the jump start successful? Do the brake lights work?

Try jiggling around the shifter and see if you can get it cranking again.
