Question electrical problem on Aspire

This is on a 96 Ford Aspire. The headlights will not come on unless I hold the flash to pass back. I checked out the continuity of the headlight switch. According to the Chilton book everything checks out. I noticed in the schematic there is a headlight relay somewhere in the wiring. I found 3 relays on the drivers side panel behind the headlight and two more on the left side panel. Is there a good way to check these things 2 see if they work? I trying the old switch relays around to see if I could get the lights to come on put no luck. Any other place I might look for the problem? The 30amp fuse on the firewall checks out also.

Much thanks to any replies

sounds like your low beams are out. I'm assuming your, "hold flash to pass means your high beams ." lol Purchase one new bulb and replace it. If it comes on that was your problem, if it doesn't save it for a rainy day or return it.
