removing engine cut off switch

Hello all,

Can anyone guide me on how to remove the engine cut off switch from a 1997 Ford Taurus? I don't know which wires to connect. Should I wrap it up in electrical tape afterwards? Is there a website with detailed instructions, images? Any info would help.

Take the wires on the switch splice them together, put a wire nut on it tape it and your good to go. If you can solder them together more the better.

You do understand that removing this switch can cause you problems in the future? If you decide to remove it or anything else use masking or duct tape to label each wire so you don't forget. installation is the reversal of removal + wire nuts and 3M electrical tape , unless you're really fancy and have some heat shrink, but then you wouldn't be retro fitting your vehicle.
