OBD1 157 and 327 codes on sable

(1993 sable 3.8)
mil light went on, some rough idle and then everything is ok and
now the light is off - I pulled the codes anyway, since I do have an ongoing problem that's different than this. The codes I got are:
157 MAF sensor circuit open.
327 PFE sensor circuit voltage below Self-Test minimum.

The other problem that I have had for a long time is that when I go down a long hill on the highway, the mil goes on, but once I start accelerating again on flat ground it goes right off. I
don't know if these codes are related.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
Rob

mil light

Malfunction Indicator Lamp

I think that's the official expression, although it does sound a bit obtuse!

Mass Air Flow sensors aren't cheap , that sounds like it could be malfunctioning. I've taken one apart cleaned it and dielectric gelled it for a poor kid. Worked fine.
