Seized nut removal tips - Dodge 1500 front shock

Anyone any suggestions for releasing and removing a seized nut on the lower shock fixing bolt on a Dodge ram 1500 truck (4WD 1995)?

Brute strength and ignorance, plus WD40, and an impact driver doesn't seem to have worked so far!

Impact wrench had no affect? wow, is the nut reverse threaded? I've seen strange things like that. If not, the only next step would be to cut the nut off with a cutting wheel or hack saw if you have the room.

Get yourself a propane torch and heat it to a cherry red and it will come right off, make sure you don't get the torch on anything other than the nut you are trying to remove, like brake lines, suspension grommets etc. Have a nice day. Geo
