repair manuals

I posted a question about my trouble, and i have a hayes manual that covers 5 cars, with different engines, no help, i need a book that covers a 94 pontiac Grand Am with a 3.1 V6 engine. Just that
one, not 50 others, i want to change my PCV valve, but can't find
out how to, in the manual. Thanks for any help

I would imagine that the original service manual is out of print. Chilton has a Grand Am manual but it covers a number of years. You might find something on Ebay if you search.

If you can't find the PCV valve in the usual places, look near the right front corner on top of the engine for a black plastic "cup" with a cap. Remove the cap and lift out the valve. If this fits your 3.1, be certain to properly reposition the "O" ring on the cap before closing it back up.
