1997 gmc jimmy

4.3L 115,000 auto, 4x4
For the last week or 2, when the vehicle is cold (first trip of the day) it seems to hesitate between 2500-3000 rpm's. After about 5 miles it runs fine.

Thanks for any ideas

The check engine light is not on. Fuel filter is only a couple moths old. I changed plugs, wires ,cap, and rotor in March.

I recommend going to Autzone and having them hook up there OBDII scanner and see if there any codes. Work from there.

I had it scanned. No codes. It seems to be happening alot less. Now it seems to happen on the first trip of the day. Only first 2-3 times you get over 2500 rpm's.Then it runs fine.does this sound like vacuum? I haven't been able find a leak. Any ideas?
