Unhappy 72 Duster Valve Train Knocking

My Duster knocks quite loudly right under the valve cover. This only occurs on the left side of the engine, when looking at the engine from the front. The engine is a 340 that has been rebuilt (not by me) a few years ago, and is in very nice shape. I was just wondering if this is perhaps a lifter issue, or something in the valve train. Or perhaps it's just loud because there is no sound insulation under the hood, probably not the answer because it's on one side only. Well, this is my first plymouth, and I hope some old Mopar guys can give me some advice.

I think I would pull that valve cover and check all of your rocker arms. You may have one that's loose or broke.

Thumbs up Thanks

I will do that, and check my clearances.
