Finding the best dealer service department

Does anyone know of a way to identify the dealers that have service departments with good reputations? I'm in the Cleveland, Ohio area and need to select a Buick dealership to handle repairs under my GM extended warranty.

Ask the locals and check the BBB. The local people will know who is good and who isn't. Have a nice day. Geo

If you know anyone in the towing business you can ask them also. They know who's good and who isn't.

Well, I don't know any towing people, and I AM a local, so I'm not sure what to do. This may sound silly, but does whether the dealership takes advance appointments mean anything? One dealership will only do service by appointment, and another is the opposite -- it won't make advance appointments.

I don't think it makes any difference quality-wise. The appointment place would certainly be more convenient for routine stuff; if you have an emergency I guess you would be out of luck with them.
