clean engine
What is the best way to clean an engine so I can look for oil leaks...I have a power washer....Any ideas

I usually spray the motor down with some engine degreaser, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then take a pressure washer to it. It does the job good. The only way to get it really pretty is to do what I said, and then use a pressure steamer. Thats not really necessary though. Just cover up your air filter if it's exposed to the engine bay.

Get some engine degresser and follow directions on can.Try to keep all electrical connections out of the water.Use plastic bags or you can use foil since it will mold around the connection.

A pressure washer will do a good job, just be sure you know what can be washed with pressure, what can only handle a little moisture and what you need to keep dry.
