1997 pontiac Heater core

I have to change out the heater core in my 1997 pontiac grand am. Are there any good sites that give step by step instructions on how to do it?

Not sure of any sites, but, it's not a extremely difficult job. It requires on most vehicles to remove the glovebox and/or dashboard. Then you will see the air box with some screws. Remove air box and you should see the heater core (small radiator looking thing). There will be two hoses with clamps, remove clamps and hoses, and replace.

You can get an idea of exactly where the core is by looking at the firewall and see where the two hoses go in at. It is probably a good time to drain and flush your coolant while you have this all apart.

See if this link works for you.
