Whats the deal, do they sell remote car starters for manual trans cars?

I just called best buy and they said no.

Remote starter kits are designed for automatics because they are safe. It is possible to put one on a car with a manual transmission by bypassing the clutch safety switch but if you remotely start the car while it is in gear....well you should know what will happen. I dont recommend doing it.

John is right. It's a liablilty issue with places like Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. You can install it, just that you will probably have to do it yourself.

Thanks guys, I did look on the net and seen that it is possible but like you said no one will probable install it. Plus it does look pretty risky.
looks like I'll have to do it old school, and get my lazy butt out in the cold and start it myself.
