plymouth blues

i have a 1994 plymouth voyager van , 3.3lt,4spd auto

electrical problem with interior lights . they will not go off with doors closed. dash light dimmer switch turns them out but also can't see dash. they sometimes flash off and on continuosly.
key in chime is always on even when key out.in canada we have a daytime runing light module.

i have checked the front door swiches seem to be ok.
trying to find how lift gate switch works but can't so far.

thanks

It can only be a door switch. Also check the tailgate switch etc. Try disconnecting one at a time till they go off.

Have you lood at the sliding door switch yet?. Don't forget to check the clearance between door and switch when closed. The rear hatch switch is on the latch, you'll need to drop the hatch panel to see it.

It was a recall on that model year for rear hatch/latch in US, don't know if it's apply to Can.
