Probably the same as a 1994 -- if I recall correctly, from 2wd to 4wd hi -- while the truck is in gear and moving forward (and let's do this at a reasonable speed, ie under 40mph/60kmh), let off the gas and pull the lever back firmly into 4wd hi. To get back into 2wd, just pop the lever back. You can also shift to 4wd when stopped - either way you'll notice a short delay til the front locks in - the display around the floor shifter (if you have it) should light up when it's engaged.

To go into 4wd Low, the truck should be moving slowly forward, a couple miles an hour -- shift tranny into neutral, then firmly push floor lever forward into 4wd low. Shift tranny back into drive. You have to be in neutral and moving forward or you're gonna grind up a pound of gears... Reverse procedure to get back to 2wd.

have fun..

I wouldn't shift at any speed over 10 mph. Cold weather i shift from a dead stop. Under no conditions do i try to shift into 4W low unless completely stopped.
