Do dent removers work?

I have a small dent on my drivers side door that looks like someone opened their door against mine. It wasn't that noticible until I waxed my car the other day and that seems to have made it stick out like a sore thumb. I have saw in the past dent removing kits in advance auto and I was wondering if that would work on my kind of dent. Anybody used that before?

No dent remover kit will remove a creased dent. If the sheetmetal is creased, the only way of fixxing it is to remove the paint from the area, and bondo, replaint, etc. If it is not creased, you can try those kits. I used to use a suction cup type thing that seemed to work. Also, I've seen dry ice remove dents. They will rub the dent area with dry ice, and when the heat hits it, it pops the dent out.

I don't know if the remover kit will works but more llikely will not, try to push it out from the inside as MangoMan suggested or call the Dent Doctor pro, those guys can fix it up like new w/o sandpaper and bondo.
