coolant smell
I have a 2002 chevy venture. I took it to the dealer and they pressure tested the cooling system and said everything is fine. Temp guage looks good to me. However, sometimes when exiting the vehicle and walking around the front you get a whiff of anti freeze. What could this be? Thanks

Do you think you may be losing coolant? If you can't see the level going down it could be tough to know. If not check this out.
Reason I'm saying.....I have an older Neon and when I stop it after some good faster running, I can smell the coolant from the expansion bottle. Not all the time. At first it was disheartening but since I'm not losing anything, I chalk it up to old car things.
Might not pertain to you but if the system isn't leaking then maybe take a peek under there as soon as you smell it. Never know.
