Need to find a firing order diagram.........

Does anyone know where I can find a firing order diagram online? I have a 1987 Chevy 4x4 full size blazer with a 305ci engine. I just changed the cap and rotor and I think I may have a wire in the wrong spot. Thanks..........

It used to be cast into the intake manifold. Look around the carb on one of the manifold runners. 18436572, used to older engines, not sure on the 305. On the dist cap, #1 is usually in front, then rotate clockwise looking from the front of the engine. Cylinders are 1,3,5,7-drivers side; 2,4,6,8, passenger side.

Ok, I have the firing order on the engine,18436572, 1357 right side, 2468 left side. I found #1 on the dist cap and now I need to work my way clockwise, thats where I get lost. What plug wires go where on the dist? If #1 plug cyl wire goes on the #1 lug of the dist, does #2 plug cyl wire go on the next lug going clockwise, then #3 plug cyl wire goes next to that working clockwise? I can't find a diagram that shows which cyl wire goes where on the dist cap. they all show the engine cyl numberes, but no numbers on the dist cap.

As long as you know for sure which is #1 on the cap you just follow the firing order; the next terminal gets the #8 plug wire, next terminal the #4, next terminal the #3, and so on.

18436572 spins clockwise on Chevy V8's..............And (assuming the distributr has not been disturbed ) If you draw a line from the distrib shaft tom the #1 cyl (frt lft side) of the engine, that "line" would pass over the #1 terminal
