Question 99 Plymouth Voyager - Problems Starting

Over the past few months my Voyager has not been starting reliably when turning the key. Sometimes click with no start and sometimes will turn right over. Replaced the battery and it did not change. Cleaned battery connections that were corroded and even replaced the positive. No change. Last night, driving home the whole car appeared to shut down at 60 mph and then correct itself. This morning it will not start regardless of the number of times I turn the key. Alternator? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, sounds like a bad alternator. Autozone type places can do a generic test on them for free. It's not your starter if you car dies when already started.

Also, make sure your plugs/wires, fuel filter, air filter are good.

I changed the positive terminal yesterday and this was the first time it hads "shut down" while driving, after the change. Any possible connection? Also, although the car will not turn over, the battery is running everything else fine. Just trying to rule out any less expensive fixes. Thanks.
