Where is the "Breakout Box" that houses the test pins for engine sensor checks on a 1998 Ford Windstar 3.8L V6 ? ( particularly for test voltage readings from cam shaft position sensor)

The Cam sensor goes directly into the PCM (powertrain control module) pin 85.

See if this helps.

The "breakout box" you refer to is a tool that connects between the ECM and the ECM plug to allow you unrestricted acessto test wiring..........It's a handy thing to have but not absolutely necessary as you can back probe each sensor seperately
