194 Lumina APV 3.8 motor

This thing is driving me crazy
It acts like it is timed to high, it will idle ok, has a little miss every now and then, but when under load it won't pull at all, it acts like it's timed way to high or running on water, I've replaced feul pump & filter, didn't help
replaced mass air, throtle, and a couple other sensors, as well as all 3 coils and ignition mod., still runs the same, anybody have any ideas?

Have you replaced the Camshaft Position Sensor, or EGR valve?

I would change the CPS (CAMSENSOR). It is located Under hood, passenger side, upper engine area, between cylinder heads, mounted behind the power steering pump reservoir.

Also, I believe Luminas of that year only have a 3.1L V6, or a 3.4, not a 3.8.

Sounds like you could have a restricted Cat Convertor..........May have jumped time, but that would be fairly rare, I'd be disconnecting the exhaust, or removing the O2's, whatever is easier and see how it runs then
