1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL Headlight

My boyfriend's Oldsmobile eats through headlights like crazy. He just got the one replaced four months ago, and already, it burned out yesterday morning. Considering all of the other crap that goes on with it, such as his battery suddenly dying (in the middle of a cemetery at night, to boot), my Dad believes all of his problems are due to a bad voltage regulator. But this is besides the point. Every time my boyfriend takes his car to Walmart to have yet another light replaced, they've been forcing him to get a whole new headlight assembly. My Dad and I agree that it seems suspicious that just the bulb itself can't be replaced, and I was wondering if it really is possible to just replace the bulb on this thing. I mean, I realize GM cars are built...interestingly, to say the least, but this interestingly? It seems fishy.

You should just be able to purchase the bulbs, and even they should be warrantied.

There is definetly a electrical problem somewhere. HAve him or you check all the ground cables.
