2003 caravan turn signal problem
My wife has a 2003 Caravan which she says when she turns they blink but don't turn off after she has made the turn ... This occurs when making both left or right turns .... anyone know what causes this I am sure all bulbs are working

There is a cancelling device in the turn signal switch which enters the steering column. When you signal a right turn, and turn the wheel to the right, the device is not effected. When the wheel comes back to the left, a detent or similar hits the device which cancels the signal. Works similar for left turns. I suspect the cancelling device is broken. Would probably require replacing the switch assembly.

i can tell that when that problem happens in an older chevy astro/gmc safari, just pop off the steering wheel and there's two springs, one for each side, and when they break, the signal doesn't cancel.
