1998 toyota Tocoma wiper motor
Hello, This morning my wiper fluid barely got to the bottom of the windshield, I assume the motor is going out. I checked and it appears I just need a new motor....couldnt find a pump? I assume this is one in the same? Is this a simple fix? A couple wires/bolt. Do I need to disconnect the battery before I install? Thanks for any advice.

As a safety precaution, always disconnect battery before doing electrical maintenance.
This pump should be mounted to your firewall area, and a simple unbolt and unhook connector should work.
Be careful pulling of the wiper hose as this may stretch and/or tear. You might as well pick up some of those while you are at the store.

Before you do any major work, disconnect the hoses from the squirters and test the flow. If you get a good flow of washer fluid, the nozzles may be clogged, which is not uncommon. If you have a very small diameter piece of wire, you can often reopen the nozzles.
