Loose Steering Wheel
I have a 1995 Ford Winstar (123,000 miles). It runs ok but last week the steering wheel itself became loose. You can still drive it and steer but the steering wheel is "wobbly". I noticed that I can't adjust the tilt on it now either. Is this something I can take apart and tighten up or does it have to be replaced? Someone told me that maybe a bearing went???? Any thoughts? Thank you.

There is an air bag in the top of the wheel, do not attempt repairs if you are not sure what you are doing. If the air bag goes off, the bag itself is about $1200, but they often break the dash and the windshield, VERY EXPENSIVE!!!
