94 Chrysler LeBaron brakes, transmission, idk

Okay please bear with me, i don't know much about cars. I'm not actually planning to fix my car myself. My cousin who is a mechanic will be coming by tomorrow to take a look at it, but i just wanted a general understanding of what could be wrong.

first off my car is an automatic. i went to turn my car on and found that the the ignition wouldn't move. i couldn't turn the key at all. sometimes my gear shift will slip out of shift and usually i just have to hit back into shift and everything is fine. but this time my gear shift was completely stuck in park. wouldn't budge at all. and my brakes wouldn't depress. so basically, ignition stuck, gear shift stuck, and brakes stuck.

i called my parents about it and around maybe 3 hours later they came to look at it, and when my dad tried it, everything worked fine. %*$#

i'm guessing this is something that is going to keep resurfacing right? -__-;;

 

To get the key to turn try to turn the steering wheel a little in each distraction to take the pressure off the key lock. The brakes, the reason the petal is hard is because the brake booster has lost all vacuum, this is normal. The shifter will not shift unless the key is turned to on, the shifter is locked in place.
