We had a '93 Lumina APV and now have a '92 Silhouette. Both cars have had the same problem: the front wipers work when they feel like it (which is less than half the time). Since this seems to be a frequent problem with this style minivan, has anyone had the same problem and have you found the cause? Thanks.

more than likely it is caused by a bad pulse circuit board that attaches to the wiper motor if you can catch it when its acting up and can get it to work while wiggling the connector on the wiper motor then a new pulse board should fix it. just be careful not to get caught in the wiper linkage while wiggling the connector.
