04 chevy TB abs & park brake
I own a 04 Trailblazer ls, today my abs and parking brake dummy lites came on. Why would both come on at the same time? Anyone else had a problem like this?

CAUTION: If the brake warning light also comes on and remains on while the ABS warning light it on, it signals a serious problem. Your vehicle may not be safe to drive. The brakes and ABS system should be inspected immediately to determine the nature of the problem!
If the ABS light comes on momentarily then goes out, the nature of the problem is usually minor and the ABS system usually remains fully operational. Some vehicle manufacturers call this kind of fault a "nonlatching" fault (meaning it isn’t serious enough to disable the ABS system).

Check brake fluid level. Usually if it's low, it willthrow a brake light, but not usually both lights.

both lights coming on there is no real problem it is a computer issue that GM has obviosly not resolved yet dont be worried about the brakes not working when the lights are on you will have normal brakes just not ABS when either light is on. As for the fix you should be able to get it reprogrammed at your local dealer but ask first if they know that there is a fix for it
