1988 Gmc Safari Van Won't Start In Cold Weather
I Have A 1988 Gmc Safari Van 4.3l That Won't Start When Cold.
No Fuel To Tbi, No Spark From Coil, Replaced Ecm Using My Old Eproms And Still Nothing.
When It Warm Out, Engine Starts And Runs Fine.
Spark Plug Wires Only 1 Year Old. Dist Cap And Rotor 1 Year Old Tune Up 1 Year Ago.
I Was Able To Return The Ecm I Purched So I'm Not Out Any Money But This Is Baffeling Me.
I Have Fuel In Tank And Have Cycled Heat Through It.
Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

if your sure that you do not have any spark at the coil and the injectors are not spraying any fuel would suspect a problem with one of the 2 parts in the distributer either ignition module or pickup assembly.
you might actually check for power at the ignition module 2 wire connector pink wire with a black stripe, and primary wire of the coil with the key on as long as you have power to both those it about has to be one of the components mentioned above.
