Question help with the brakes on Olds 88

Help! My husband has a 1991 Olds eighty eight Royale, and he heard a noise coming from the back tire area. He took the wheel off, and the brake drum, too, and everything fell apart. Yikes! He's done brakes MANY times, but never on this car. He says it's like nothing he's seen before. (Figures!) Anyway, he doesn't know where the little clip goes. Does anyone know where I can find an exploded view of the brake system. We have a Hayes manual, it's not pictured in there. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Candy

tip

Have him remove the other side. It is the same as the one that fell apart.

if the brakes fell apart you obviously have some hardware issues that need replaced due to being broken or rusted out you may need to buy a brake hardware kit and possibly adjuster kits also, it probably would be a good time to go through the rear brakes with new parts and replace the wheel cylinders also.
try autozones website not sure how accurate it is to your brake system but it may be of some help to you pulling the other side may be your best option.
you can copy and paste the address to view or go autozones website.
