2000 Neon Stalling

This is for a friend, so I may not have all the details needed. I am just looking for any ideas.

In Nov, the plugs were changed to correct an intermittant stalling (while warm) problem. It seemed to correct the issue. Now, it is doing it again. After a short warmup period, it stalls from time to time (had not done so cold). Gas mileage seems to have gone to the birds as well.

There is no check engine light (according to the owner). Any ideas? (I would love get more info, but the owner is not very good at describing symptoms).

Thanks

Has the fuel filter been changed? This will stall cars.

Also if you browse the other threads running in the auto forum you will find several that address the same or similar problems; most of the possible culprits will be addressed.

Crank Position Sensor.. about $300 repair at the dealership.

If that is indeed the culprit, it will eventually leave your friend stranded.
