remove heater fan on gmc safari
It's a 1989/w air, 4.3 motor.
How do you get the heater fan out of the truck? We get it all unscrewed but can't get it out. Is there a trick to it or do we have to start taking other things apart?

The HVAC housing will be bolted on the firewall as well as the inside. Look on your firewall for additional screws.
If you have A/C, you will have to remove the A/C linesm along with heater core hoses.
It's a major job.

I should have known , it was going to smooth. Wire came off easy, all the screws that held the fan were easy. Definatly has to be a weekend project. Thanks for the heads up.
