Question 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado light problem

My 2000 Jeep Cherokee(6cyl.;automatic)is having an intermittant problem..the passenger side turn signal lights(front and back) will come on (steady burning...no flash) without being activated and cannot be turned off...they remain on and eventually go out on their own after a time. When this occurs, the overhead warning indicator shows "Right turn signal is on".I had an electrical diagnostic done at the dealer;however, the problem is intermittant and was not occurring at that time...the test showed nothing wrong.Anyone have any clues about this problem?

would probably start with simple bulb replacement if they are double filament and check the condition of the sockets while you are changing out the bulbs. dual filament bulbs uses the same bulb for two purposes like the front may be your park and turn signal lights, the rear may be tail and brake/turn not sure on your model which will use dual filament bulbs,it maybe only on the front but you can usually tell if its using the same bulb just by turning on your lights and hitting the brakes/turn signal and seeing if the same bulb is operating both and change out any on the problem passenger side for a starting point.
if it continues to have the same problems it may be hard to diagnose unless the problem is occuring at the time could be a switch related problem or shorted wiring.
