1998 supercharged bonneville serpentine belt tensioner
I have a 1998 supercharged bonneville. I just got my car back from Pepboys. I had a serpentine belt tensioner replaced along with the belt. i now have steering fluid leaking. i had loud noise coming from turning the steering wheel. after putting in about 8 oz. of fluid, noise is gone.
i found an O-ring approx. 5/8 diamiter laying on top of my car battery, is it possible that the part was forgotten? would the repair need anything taken off of the steering fluid container area? thanks, joe

They do have to remove the belt from the power steering pump pulley. I would call Pepboys back and tell them to fix this.
