Scanned for codes?

Check exhaust system to make sure it's not clogged?

It could be the MAF, but when a MAF goes bad, it usually won't allow the vehicle to go above a certain RPM. To test, remove the electrical connector from the MAF. If the motor seems to run better, then replace the MAF.

I would also look at the Thottle position sensor or the crankshaft position sensor.

Also get the codes read as the_tow_guy said.

Weepage around the fuel lines is not to be ignored...............Unless you're looking to have a "carbecue"..............but unless you have a RADICAL leak, I wouldn't think so.............One thing I WOULD do is invest in a can of 3M throttle body cleaner and a good brush and make sure the T/body is spiffy............3.1's eact poorly to trash in the T/body
