Low budget repairs

Hey!

I got a truck real cheap and want to do the work myself just because I've always had an intrest but never the time or place to do it. I'm getting ready to replace the brake lines and was wondering if it would be safe to use the old fittings or if it would be a good idea to buy new.

Also if anyone one has any tips on this topic I would be happy to hear them.
THANKs

Most brake lines/hoses come with new fittings already attached.

Even if you have to make your own (and flare for your own fittings), if the old lines need replacing, there's a real good chance the fittings are bad too, and/or you will strip them trying to remove them
