wipers on old Silhouettes/Lumina APVs
We had a '93 Chevy Lumina APV (minivan) and now have a '92 Olds Silhouette (essentially the same vehicle). Both have had the same problem: the windshield wipers work only some of the time and eventually fail completely. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, have you found the cause and how to fix it? Thanks. -- Bill

GM vehicles of this time period had problems with the wiper motors. The circuit boards and soldered connections were going bad. Try replacing the wiper motors and you problems should be solved.
