Question Relay problem?

I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy with an electrical problem. Sometimes my dome light comes on when I open the door and sometimes it doesn't. Also, when I turn off the vehicle my radio is supposed to stay on until I open the door. This does not always work either. It is my understanding that these problems could be a relay switch that is going bad. Does anyone know which switch or switches are causing the problem and where they are located. Their is a relay fuse box under the hood with a diagram on it but the words are abbreviated so I can't fully understand their functions. Thanks

More likely a door switch sticking for the dome light problem. Fix that first and see if it cures your other problem.

door switch

The door switch location should be part of the latch assy. Try lubing it real well.
You got to love the new cars and how they make them.(not)
