Exclamation "2004" ford explorer breaking problems

hi, i have a 2004 exploder. when i push the break on to stop the truck stops for about a sec. or 2 then the pedal goes down just about to the floor then the vehicle keeps going for about a couple of feet. the funny thing is there's no break fluid leaks any were visible i checked it out from bumper to bumper. could it have something to do with the master cylinder, or a vaccum problem if you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. thanks matt t. the vehicle has been sitting for over 2 weeks now cant figure it out. i dont want to drive it any were cause it dont stop lol. messed up isnt it.

Either air in the brake lines or a bad master cylinder. I would start with the possibility of air and go from there.
