1998 Ford Contour Starter Problem???
Hello, I would like to get someone's opinion in regards to my problem. When I start the car in the morning there is a scrapping noise kinda like when you turn the key by accident when your car is already running that type of scrapping noise..Is that the starter or is that the flywheel?? Or what are the symptoms of both when its fixing to fail on me...

Sounds like a starter problem. Either the starter is not disengaging properly, or the splines on the starter are bad.

Yes The car will start
Yes the car will start, but only in the morning is when it does that. Thru all of the day it seems to do it once in a while, but the first start of the day its when I know it will do it 100%...
