Idle Air Control Motor Replacement: 01 Sebring

I need to replace the Idle Air Control motor in my '01 Sebring. Where can I find a step by step guide on how to do that? And will any special tools be required?

Shouldnt require anything special tools. First thing to try is cleaning the throttle body. Remove the air induction hose from the throttle body. Then using a throttle body/air induction cleaner, clean the thottle body. If this shows no improvement, remove the IAC/ABP motor from the throttle body, and clean the pintle on the IAC/ABP motor and the idle air bleed port on the throttle body. If this shows no improvement, replace the IAC/ABP motor.

If and when you replace your IACV, you will also have to do a idle air learning calibration. It's may be different for each vehicle, so ask a dealer or consult a Haynes manual for the proper procedure for your car.
