Saving Wiper Blades

I want to remove my wife's winter blades that she just had installed, and replace them with normal looking ones for the summer. Is there anything I should do with the winter ones to preserve them so we can use them again next winter?

If they are a good quality blade, just wrapping them in a plastic shopping bag and putting them in a safe place should suffice. The enemies of wiper blades are sun, heat, ice, road chemicals, etc.. so keeping them out of these will prolong their life. Also, there is a rubber and seal conditioner made by a company called ATP that manufactures automatic transmission parts. This chemical works wonders when applied to any rubber, allowed to set for a while, then wiped back off with a cloth. It is available in liquid or aerosol form.
