tire rotation

Hi,

After 20,000 miles my mother's 2002 Honda accord had a flat on one tire that had to be replaced. There was a gash on the side wall so it could not be repaired. Because I could not afford it, I only replaced that one tire instead of replacing in pairs.

Now, my question is can I rotate the tires or have the wheels alignned?

Thank you.

I assume the tire is similiar or identical to the other 3. It shouldn't affect alignment but for rotation it might be better to keep it on the rear as there is a possibility it might slightly affect the steering.

The replacement tire is a different brand than the other three.

Keep the new tire on the back, it will help your car to steer easier.
