Question head unit remove/install

99 toyota tocoma p/u 4wd and a cassette player.
I can't figure out how to remove the radio or the plastic parts (trim) around/in front of the radio. I am OK with the wiring and everything else but this has me baffeled.
Dont want to break anything. Im sure there is an easy way but I'm not seeing it.
Thanks Ed

Most likely you have to pull the plastic trim off. Make sure there are no screws holding it on. You may have to take a flat head screwdriver with a towel over the end, and gently pry the trim off.

Tried that this morning. Got the top loose the AC vents are connected to it. below is the heat AC control then the radio and an open space below that.
Took off the ashtray mount and a few other screws I could find but other than popping the top out 1 1/2 inches. nothing.

*** follow up***
