Cooling fan seems to have come unscrewed?
97 dodge ram van's cooling fan is very loose on the shaft and im just trying to undersatnd whats happening here before I go any further..
Is this simply a reverse nut that has somehow come loose or is there more to the big picture than I cant see?

The nut/set screw was probably not tightened to specs last time it was off. I would put some LokTite on the nut and any set screw holding fan on.
